If you missed out on Braid when it was released last year on Xbox Live Arcade, you might dismiss the recent PC version as yet another port of a generic console platformer. That would be a big mistake, as Braid was easily one of the most compelling and original games of 2008, and one of the most talked about independent efforts in years. The PC version of Braid turns out to be pretty much faithful to the original Xbox Live game, though it\’s playable now with a keyboard as well as a gamepad controller.
